Youssef Chebli

Youssef graduated from MacEwan University in 2012 with a Business Degree and specialized in Accounting. Throughout his undergraduate studies, he achieved First Class Standing and Dean’s List recognition and was twice awarded the Jason Lang Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. He went on to obtain his professional accounting designation in 2014.

Since beginning his accounting career in 2010, Youssef has developed extensive experience working with privately held businesses and their owners across a wide range of industries. He worked with mid-sized CPA firms, where his practice included compilation and assurance engagements, corporate and personal taxation, complex tax planning and corporate reorganizations, as well as dealing with the Canada Revenue Agency resolving various client issues. During 2015 to 2017, he provided a principal position that was vital in the audit of the City of Cold Lake, a government body with accumulated surplus in excess of $300 million. Since joining the firm as partner in 2018, he has played an integral role in its growth and modernization, including leading its transition to a fully paperless environment and advancing the firm’s use of streamlined processes.

Today, Youssef focuses on providing advanced tax and business advice to owner-managed businesses while continuing to invest in the development of OES Group through staff training, mentorship, technology, and professional advancement.
